The Nong Wind Power Project is planned to be developed in Nong District of Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. We don't know the precise locations at this time of the various wind towers and facilities.

The project has a Project Development Agreement dated 13 February 2025 to develop a 1,200 MW wind power facility on a land area covering 28,500 hectares in two phases.

Phase 1 has a capacity of 702 MW and an investment value of about 1,123 billion USD and Phase 2 would have a capacity of 498 MW with investment of about 797 million USD.

Output is plannned for export to Vietnam.

Unsure if construction has started yet.
